Joe Costa:

Owner/Operator/Maintenance Guy/Accountant/IT Guy/Grounds Keeper/The Business Master Mind!

Hi, I'm Joe. Originally from northern California, at 17 I moved to Colorado in 2000, where I met Melody. We were married by 2002 and have been playing by our own rules, well making them up along the way, and have been inseparable ever since.

Through a series of fortunate and unfortunate events, in 2003 I was able to get an entry level job at Veolia Environmental Services, an environmental company in Henderson, CO. Though I only planned to stay with Veolia while I worked my way through college, I'd spend nearly 14 years in the environmental industry, eventually becoming Henderson's Assistant Facility Manager. And as much as it pained me to leave, Veolia gave me the the knowledge, skills and courage to venture out on this crazy RV park owning adventure with Melody.

Thus far I LOVE Angel Fire. As a lifelong snowboarder, camper, hiker, backpacker, snowshoer and all around outdoor enthusiast, Angel Fire is the perfect place to live while pursuing my professional dreams.

Whether you have visited Angel Fire before or are new to the area, it is my hope that you will love this magical place as much as I do. And I hope that Melody and I can make the Monte Verde RV Park and Campground a special part of your time on the Enchanted Circle.

Melody Costa:

Owner/Operator/Receptionist/Grounds Keeper/Maid/Voice of Reason/Hospitality Guru!

Hi, I'm Melody. I was born and raised in Lochbuie, CO, a teeny town about 30 miles northeast of Denver. I met Joe when we were 17 after he moved to Colorado in 2000. We fell in love and were soon married.

While Joe is continually chasing his waxing and waning dreams and interests, I have found my adventures in books. As an avid reader, from a very young age I knew that I wanted to share my love of books, reading and knowledge with the world. So I began working at the very same library I attended preschool storytime at when I was 15 years old. The Brighton Branch of the Adams County Library System (now called Anythink) was where I grew up and discovered my love of lifelong learning.

Over the course of those 17 years at the Brighton Library I worked with members of the public of every age and walk of life, gaining strong customer service and hospitality skills. The bulk of that experience came from my work with children, toddlers, infants and parents as a Children's Librarian. I eventually combined my love of the outdoors, lifelong learning and my early childhood training into the library's children's programming, resulting in an outdoor classroom for children at the library. This is a passion I would eventually like to carry on as we begin to add kid and family friendly activities to make the Monte Verde RV Park and Campground a family destination instead of just a place to park a camper or pitch a tent.
