Mountain Biking!
Lots of folks come up here to ride the ski mountain at Angel Fire Resort. During biking season, the resort deploys the ski lifts to carry bikes to the top!
And breaking news for mountain bikers! Angel Fire has big plans to duplicate its winter success by expanding its lift serviced mountain park for downhill cyclists. Stunts, jumps, drops, wicked lava fields and easy cruisers make Angel Fire a natural location for mountain bike riders of all experience levels. Commencal, one of Europe's biggest bike brands, became involved in the development of the mountain through the efforts of Bicycle Technologies International (BTI), its US distribution partner. Commencal USA's two year partnership with the resort, announced today, includes sponsorship of the trail building crew, trail signage and a joint advertising program. Additionally Commencal USA will name several of the new trails currently under development.
