Things to See and Do: Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Rising dramatically from a hillside overlooking the valley, the 6000 square foot Vietnam Veterans National Memorial speaks of many things:

•Not to glorify war, but to honor the men and women who served in Vietnam, as well as all veterans for the selfless sacrifices they made.
•The prayer for peace.
•A promise of hope for America's future. Hot Air Ballooning
•An understanding that war is not the answer to our problems.

The memorial is a place for personal inspiration, for reflection on the costs and horrors of war, for respect for those who fought, for those who died, and for those who came home disabled.
